Michael White is a staff attorney with the Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino.  Previously, he was the executive director of Riverside Legal Aid.  He practiced law, mainly as a sole practitioner beginning in 1972, including business and commercial litigation; real estate transactions and litigation; bankruptcy and insolvency; estate planning; medical malpractice, including physician and psychotherapist litigation.   He has more than 30 years of practice in mediation and arbitration.  Michael is a past President of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and a founding director of the Death With Dignity National Center.  For five years, he was an assistant professor in the Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding Program at Cal State University Dominguez Hills, and has taught in traditional and online schools including courses in mediation and arbitration practice.  He is also the former executive director of the Ventura Center for Dispute Settlement.\.
